Ordering food in Korea is less about finding the biggest delivery app than making four things work together: your address, contact number, payment method and pickup point. At a Hangang park, that last detail matters as much as the menu.

For a Han River picnic, use an operating designated delivery zone and meet the courier there; a pin on your picnic blanket is not a reliable delivery address.
Choose a service you can actually check out with
Baemin, Coupang Eats and Yogiyo are options you may encounter, but an English screen does not prove that your foreign card, tourist SIM or account will work. We have not completed a visitor checkout in these apps, so this guide does not promise universal overseas-card support or signup without a Korean number.
Shuttle’s own FAQ confirms Korean/English ordering and major credit cards. It is a useful option to check, not a guarantee of service at every hotel or park. Enter the exact address first. Its confirmation process uses the phone number linked to your account; a data-only eSIM is not automatically a working SMS or voice number.

Place the order without paying twice
- Choose the delivery address, then the restaurant. A restaurant visible at a different address may not deliver to yours.
- Check portions, required options and minimum order value. A photo may show a serving suggestion or several items.
- Review food cost, delivery/service fees, discounts and the final total. Add utensils if the app offers that choice and you need them.
- Enter short, usable delivery instructions. Check the room or building number and your contact details.
- Submit once, then check the order screen and confirmation. An estimated arrival time is not a guaranteed deadline.
If payment appears to fail, look for an existing order and a receipt before trying again. If the screen and your bank notification disagree, contact the service with the order details. Repeatedly submitting a basket can create duplicate orders.
For allergies or dietary restrictions, a translated dish name or photo is not an ingredient check. Ask the restaurant directly before ordering; if it cannot confirm what you need, choose another meal.
At a hotel: agree on the handoff first
Ask reception whether outside food is allowed and where deliveries should be collected. A courier may not be allowed upstairs. Use the property’s Korean address, the correct entrance and a reachable contact method; a hotel name alone can be ambiguous.
Do not enter a hotel’s phone number or promise that reception will pay or collect an order without asking. If you request staff help, agree on the order, total and payment arrangement first. Assistance depends on the property.

Contactless delivery does not guarantee silence, a photo or a safe unattended drop. Follow the service’s actual handoff instructions and collect your food promptly.
At the Han River: find the delivery zone before ordering
Hangang parks have designated delivery meeting zones. Seoul’s park authority has announced changes to these zones, so an old blog’s fixed zone count or map may no longer match your visit. Check the official Hangang notices and signs at your chosen park.
- Choose a park and locate an operating delivery zone on its current map or signs. Photograph the zone name or number for reference.
- Walk to it before ordering. Confirm that the app accepts this exact pickup location and that you can identify the meeting point.
- Use the zone name and clear instructions. Do not expect the courier to navigate to a blanket deep inside the park.
- Stay reachable and follow the order’s progress. One person should be ready to collect at the zone.
- Take the food back to your picnic spot. Sort rubbish using the posted bins or take it away if suitable bins are unavailable.
Rain, crowding, events, closures and restaurant availability can change the plan. If you cannot establish a clear pickup point, buy takeaway before entering the park. This is often simpler than troubleshooting a first delivery order outdoors.
If signup, payment or delivery fails

Can I order with only a data eSIM?
